About Us

Hi! My name is Liza Marie Moon. I am the one on the right in the photo. That beautiful woman next to me is my mom--her name is also Liza (Liza Fratus Moon)! We are a mother-daughter breeding team. My mom had a couple of litters of Golden Retrievers when I was young and I treasure those memories. Dog breeding was something that both my mom & I loved, but never dreamed would be such a huge part of our lives someday. Now our program is world-renowned and we haven't slowed down!
I started my breeding program in 2011 when I turned twenty one years old. I purchased my first Goldendoodle and she lived for almost twelve years. She taught me so much about dogs & breeding, and she was my best friend. My breeding program has come such a long way in twelve years--my mom has been by my side the entire time, and it's so much fun to officially consider ourselves a team in this business! It is a labor of love and we can't do it alone.
Our goal at Rebecca Creek Retrievers is to produce the ultimate low-shedding family companion dogs that will thrive in active & loving environments.

Hey, Rebecca Creek Retrievers family & followers!
First, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us develop our breeding program to what it is today. Without your continued support and encouragement, we would not be able to continue sharing our sweet pups with the world!
Next, we want to give you some insight into our future plans for our breeding program.
We dove head-first into the world of Goldendoodles in 2011, getting involved with Standard Poodles shortly after. We eventually became passionate about Aussiedoodles, too! We have met so many amazing families along the way and have watched our pups grow into incredible companions.
In 2020, we had the opportunity to begin growing our program at a rate that we had not experienced before. This has been a fun, rewarding, and busy experience! What a blessing it has been to have had the ability to put so much focus, time, and energy into developing our program further than we ever imagined.
In the Fall of 2024, we entered into a period of rest for ourselves and our dogs. During this time without any litters, we focused on recharging and time with family. We also realized that we were ready to permanently downsize.
While we do intend to continue to have some litters in the future, we do not intend to continue breeding at the pace we have been for many years. This means that any litters that we do have will be reserved in advance and spoken for quickly. If you want a Rebecca Creek Retriever, please email us at liza@rebeccacreekretrievers.com and be sure to get on our interest list for future litters. (this is different from just 'subscribing' to our email list)
Families who already own puppies from us or who purchase puppies from us this year (2025) will continue to receive the same level of lifetime support that we have always offered our families, even as we continue to downsize or breed on a much smaller scale.
In closing, we want to reiterate that any decisions we make moving forward will reflect our desire to steward our dogs and customers well.
Thank you again for your many years of support.
Sincerely,
Liza Marie Moon (Owner) & Liza Fratus Moon
