The Aussiedoodle is a crossbreed dog that is a mix of the Australian Shepherd and the Poodle. This breed was first developed in the United States in the early 2000s, and has since become a popular choice for a family pet.

The origins of the Aussiedoodle can be traced back to the early 2000s, when breeders began experimenting with crossing Australian Shepherds with Poodles. The goal was to create a dog that had the intelligence, trainability, and herding instincts of the Australian Shepherd, combined with the non-shedding coat and hypoallergenic properties of the Poodle. This combination proved to be a success, and the Aussiedoodle quickly gained popularity as a family pet.

Aussiedoodles come in different sizes, depending on the size of the Poodle used in breeding. The Standard Aussiedoodle is the largest, with a height of 22-29 inches and a weight of 40-90 pounds. The Miniature Aussiedoodle is smaller, standing at 14-18 inches and weighing 15-35 pounds. And the Toy Aussiedoodle is the smallest, standing at 10-14 inches and weighing 6-15 pounds.

One of the biggest advantages of Aussiedoodles is their low to non-shedding coat. This makes them a great choice for people who have allergies or asthma. They are also known for being highly intelligent and trainable, inheriting the herding instincts of the Australian Shepherd. They are outgoing and friendly, making them great with children and other pets.

Aussiedoodles are not recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) or any other organizations.

Aussiedoodles are a relatively new breed of dog that have become increasingly popular in recent years. They are known for their intelligence, trainability, herding instincts and low-shedding coats, which make them a great choice for families with children or people with allergies. With their popularity increasing, they will surely be a beloved companion for many years. They are also great for active families and people who love to engage in outdoor activities, as Aussiedoodles have a lot of energy and thrive in an active lifestyle.
